Bruce Brownyard began his insurance career in New
York in 1970 working for CNA Insurance. He joined the family
insurance business founded by his father in 1972 and began
specializing in insuring private security agencies. In 1993, Mr.
Brownyard left the family company and started his own insurance
agency, Brownyard Programs, Ltd. Today, Brownyard Programs and
their insurance company partner, Lexington Insurance Company,
insure more than half of the top 40 security guard companies in
the U.S.
Bruce is a graduate of St. Louis University having received a
B.A. Degree in Communications in 1969. He is a licensed resident
agent/broker in New York and a non resident agent/broker in 48
states. He and his company, Brownyard Programs, are members of
many insurance and private security/investigation associations
including NCISS for whom they are currently Brokers of Record.
Mr. Brownyard is a well known speaker and writer on the subject
of insurance and the Private Security Industry.
