Gary H. Kuty serves as Senior Consultant and CEO of Kuty &
Associates, LLC, a professional security management, marketing
and consulting agency with its corporate office located in
Dayton, Ohio. With a branch office located in Las Vegas, Nevada,
the agency specializes in offering management, marketing and
sales strategies to contract security companies. Other services
include consulting to business on threat assessments, workplace
violence and security officer training.
Mr. Kuty's experience and knowledge has been built from a
well-balanced mix of 35+ years in law enforcement and private
security. As a police officer for nine years in northeastern
Ohio, he served at the city, county and state level. Mr. Kuty
left the police department to pursue a career in private
security including a variety of operational, management and
sales positions with regional and national security service and
product providers. His experience in administration and sales
contributed to the growth of these organizations, and Mr. Kuty
attributes much of this success to the development of
relationships through his promise to "give back more to the law
enforcement and security communities" than he took.
A graduate of Youngstown State University, Youngstown, Ohio,
with a Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement Administration,
his educational background blends well with his years of
experience. With a minor in marketing he developed the unique
approach of blending service with sales.
Highly regarded by his peers on a national basis, he is past
President and Chairman of both the Ohio Association of Security
and Investigation Services (OASIS) and the National Council of
Investigation and Security Services (NCISS). Mr. Kuty was
appointed to and serves on the prestigious Private Security
Services Council for the American Society of Industrial Security
(ASIS). As a true networking professional, he remains active in
his profession serving on various security related boards and
committees.
