James brings over 20 years of experience in the development and delivery of technical and information solutions to large corporations, system integrators and government officials.

Kerins previously served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Information Solutions with LexisNexis Special Service Inc (LNSSI) where he specialized in risk assessment, information supply chain and risk management processes for various government agencies dealing with threats facing the United States. His risk management approach incorporates the utilization of data and technology to enable information sharing while integrating government, commercial and proprietary data.

Kerins is a seasoned economic crime expert and the former Chairman and President of the Board for the Council of International Investigators. He also served as the Vice Chairman and President of the National Fraud Center (NFC), where his overall responsibility was focused on investigations, research and analysis activities.

Kerins, who began his career as a police officer, has taught graduate level courses on Advanced Economic Crime at Utica College of Syracuse University and frequently speaks to professional associations around the world on open-source intelligence, economic crime issues and identity theft.

He holds a master’s degree from Utica College in Economic Crime Management as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Police Science and Criminalistics from York College of Pennsylvania.
